Switzerland's Fabian Cancellara regained the race leader's yellow jersey after the third stage of the Tour de France overnight, which was won by Norwegian Thor Hushovd. Hushovd (Cervelo) finished ahead of Great Britain's Gerraint Thomas (Team Sky) and Australian world champion Cadel Evans (BMC) to not only win the stage but also claim the green jersey.
